Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is an Mexican singer and musician born into a family of musicians. As a child, she was inspired by Boleros, classical music and the more traditional romantic, ranchero and romance ballads. Ana loves tangos, opera, and any form of dramatic performance. Ana began learning to play the piano and sing from an early age, along with her mother. She received more formal vocal training at the age of 16 old with the renowned Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. The School of Music of Guadalajara University and the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico continued her music education. In Guadalajara and Mexico City, she was an active member of numerous opera choruses and chamber ensembles. When she moved from Mexico to America around 2000, she sang in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She performs solo Latin American music for private events and also as part of Ensemble XXI in Redlands. Her passion for performing, music, and the arts keeps her engaged in local projects in both her capacity as an artist and teacher. Ana has been a part of the Community Chorus of Redlands (as being a member of the Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana is grateful to the Inland Master Choir for their permission to play the traditional Latin American song.
